I may just be grasping at straws, here…

vincatook:

In fact, I very likely am.

But… I picked up on a couple of things in Reichenbach that just keep coming up over and over, even in bits where they weren’t necessarily relevant to the plot or the ongoing feud. There was the Grimm Fairy Tales, and there was the whole “angel” thing. Sure, it could have just been a thing for the drama between Sherlock and Jim, but I figured, why the hell not check it out just in case?

So I did a quick little Google search on it, and the only Grimm fairy tale that came up to do with angels at all was a story called The Girl With No Hands, a story in which an old woman helps her daughter in law to fake her own death and run away.

Now, I’m just saying, and again, I might be just finding clues that aren’t there. But maybe check it out just in case?
